Our boat’s name is Katannu, which means “gratitude” in Pali – gratitude to our parents, teachers, friends and other benefactors. We are tremendously grateful to everyone who has helped us make this dream a reality!
Katannu is a Hallberg-Rassy 38 sailboat built in Sweden in 1981. We purchased her in 2013 in San Diego, CA, and have been preparing her for our journey since then.
